Translation of the window pattern which called "pan de verre ondulatoire (undulating glass wall)"of La Tourette Monastery to the music. It was designed by Le Corbusier, an architect ,and Iannis Xenakis, an architect in his office and also a contemporaly composer.
12 different dimension values of the width (selected based on their dimension system- "Le Modulor") of the glass plate is made to correspond to each note of 12 equal temperament.
This method is heavily influenced by "Xenakis Emulator" /Kammerbauer + Schnellboegl which makes the width value correspond to frequency directly with the computation. On the contrary, this method provides a more intuitive representation of how they picked and arranged each dimension from a palette of "Le Modulor" by converting them into the traditional 12-tone scale with simple operation.
ラ・トゥーレット修道院の 「pan de verre ondulatoire (波打つガラス面) 」 と呼ばれるガラス窓のパターンを音楽に変換。建築家ル・コルビュジエと、事務所の建築家で同時代の作曲家でもあるヤニス・クセナキスが設計したものである。
ガラス板の幅の12種類の寸法値 (彼ら独自の寸法リスト"Le Modulor"から選択されている) を12平均律の各音に対応させた。
この方法は、幅の値を計算と直接周波数に対応させる"Xenakis Emulator"/Kammerbauer+Schnellboeglの影響を強く受けている。逆に、この方法では、シンプルな操作で伝統的な12平均律に置き換えることで、"Le Modulor"のパレットから各次元をどのように選択し、配置したかをより直感的に表現することができる。
